Head of HR
Our Head of HR will oversee all aspects of Human Resources for Compco Fire Systems. You will be responsible for managing employee relations, performance management and employment law compliance, all from our Worcestershire Head Office.

What You’ll Be Doing:
· Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, supporting the business with developing, growing and challenging our talent pool.
· Develop HR strategies and implement them effectively into the business.
· Assist in driving and monitoring employee engagement.
· Lead our HR team, providing coaching and guidance to work together effectively.
· Ensure that our company’s procedures comply with employment regulations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice to accurately advise the business on HR matters.
· Handle any disciplinary processes and formal grievances appropriately.
· Oversee internal and external recruitment, selection and the onboarding process.
· Lead and manage our company’s appraisal system, supporting team leaders and managers to proactively manage performance, capability, conduct, absence, disciplinary, grievance, appeals & restructures.
· Spearhead employee wellbeing and support initiatives.
· Oversee company’s training strategy, assessing the need for training, designing and implementing training programs. This will include the oversight of our apprenticeship scheme.
· Set and review pay structures and employee benefits, including holiday allocation & tracking.
· Payroll Management.
· Leadership of the Reception, Marketing & Site Maintenance teams.
· Drive engagement and oversee internal communication/business PR.
What You’ll Need:
· Strong proven HR experience that includes HR leadership, HR strategy and driving high performance teams.
· CIPD level 7 Qualification.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Outstanding strategic skills and the ability to act as a visionary for our company.
· Expert in HR policy, best practice & employment law.
· Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
· Strong business and financial skills, including financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting.
This is an office-based role and would require the successful Head of HR to attend Monday-Friday at Cleeve House, Malvern Road, Worcester, WR2 4YX.
