We are recruiting for a full-time dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic warehouse team. This key role involves overseeing daily operations primarily in Goods Out but with the ability to step-in across all warehouse departments. The selected candidate will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor to ensure smooth coordination across all departments and branches.


Key Responsibilities


  • Liaise with other Supervisors to organise staff resource on a daily basis to ensure cover in all areas
  • Daily discussion with the warehouse manager on staff movement department targets and any areas to identify problems.
  • Assist with staff appraisals, when deemed necessary by the warehouse management
  • Ensure staff are trained, mentored and monitored with working on systems, processes and stock movements.
  • Monitoring of reports and figures to ensure all areas are working within set targets.
  • Report any H&S or Quality issues to the relevant person responsible
  • Resolving questions and problems from Customer Services, Sales, Branches, QC, Production, Marketing, HR, and Accounts.
  • Investigating depot denials, miss-picks and missing stock.
  • Stock checks when required.
  • Delegation of tasks to the relevant departments
  • Ensuring all orders dropped before 5pm are sent out on the same day.
  • Ensuring all parts are picked and packed accurately
  • To ensure the branch shipments are done in a timely fashion.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and fully.
  • Working with other departments closely to highlight and resolve problems quickly.
  • Monitoring general warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness.
  • Maintain the integrity of the warehouse in relation to the company systems
  • Manage, oversee and support with any projects deemed necessary by the management.



Skills & Experience

  • Proven warehouse leadership skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Teams
  • The aptitude to learn company specific computer programs quickly
  • Current Counterbalance Forklift License
  • Safe Manual Handling trained
  • Safe use of ladders trained
  • Depot Deny control experience
  • Stock control and stock movement experience 
  • Warehouse project planning experience
  • Appraisal and review trained


Working hours:

Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) between the core hours of 08:00 and 18:00.


Compensation:

£14.21 per hour
