Job Description:
Bender UK is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, servicing and repair of Bender UK’s clinical product range withing healthcare environments. Our products include:
- Operating Lights
- Examination Lights
- Rigid, Retractable and Articulated Pendants,
- Audio-Visual Systems
- Operating Tables
This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in clinical settings.
Key Duties:
- Perform mechanical and electrical installation of Bender UK’s clinical product portfolio.
- Conduct annual servicing and verification of Bender UK’s installed clinical equipment, including third-party devices where required.
- Liaise with the Bender UK Service Department and external suppliers to source necessary spare parts for fulfilling maintenance contracts.
- Provide on-site support to customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Represent Bender UK with professionalism, delivering excellent customer service while interacting with end users, contractors, and hospital staff.
- Collaborate closely with all departments within Bender UK, promoting a cross-functional, “one team” approach.
- Complete detailed, job-specific risk assessments and method statements to a high standard
Key Attributes
- Mechanical qualifications/experience is required plus Electrical qualifications/experience would be beneficial
- Clean driving license
- Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS)
- SSSTS Card would be preferable
- DBS checks will be required
- Experience of installing clinical equipment would be advantageous

Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £34,000 with ability to earn overtime for additional hours and / or working outside of core hours
Bonus: Eligible to participate in an annual company bonus scheme
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + 8 bank holidays with a buy/sell leave scheme in place at the start of each holiday year
