Wrapping Machine Minders are accountable for product and process delivery. They will work closely with the ATM/ Supervisor regarding any issues that they come across to achieve the production plan that ensure customer supply. You will be carrying out tasks that require a hands-on approach and operating machinery. The role will require flexibility and good communication skills. All training will be given The role requires a proactive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who is committed to maintaining high standards in production whilst working as part of a dynamic team. Will be required to move lines across the factory as and when required What will be your key deliverables?

• Carry out all pre-start checks
• Ensure product is made to the correct quality and specification for start of shift and throughout
• Understand equipment and machinery set up
• Ensure changeovers are completed to procedure Ensure any re-work procedures are followed
• Ensure product is to correct quality and specification, make adjusts to machinery settings to maintain product consistency
• Ensure all documentation is filled in correctly and to the right standard
• Always maintain everyday factory standards safely
• Shift handovers are completed in area and to agreed agenda
• Train peers and new operatives in equipment use and procedures when required
• Undertake basic problem diagnosis and maintenance
• Ensure team understand the planning of their daily tasks
• Communicate directly with relevant person to resolve any issues
• Fast-paced, noisy and warm environment

Bring your experience Essential

• Basic numerical and literacy knowledge
• Manual dexterity
• Basic communication skills
• Basic problem recognition
• Excellent team working skills
• Be able to multi-task and have the drive and tenacity to work under your own initiative
• Positive attitude and willingness to drive change within operational environment

Desirable

• Previous experience is desirable but not essential, training will be given
• Knowledge of manufacturing environment and of HACCP and safe systems of work
• Understand zonal Key Performance Indicators (production targets, waste levels and line performance)
