As a fast-growing company, we are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our Plant Quality team to ensure the highest standards of product excellence are maintained in our manufacturing processes.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Head of Plant Quality to oversee and manage the Quality Assurance functions within our Greenford plant. You will lead a team dedicated to ensuring that our products meet the rigorous standards of quality that our brand represents. This leadership role will require strong expertise in quality control, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, particularly in a volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Plant Quality department, ensuring consistent product quality and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring all products meet Brompton's high-quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the plant, identifying areas for increased efficiency, cost reduction, and higher quality output.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to address quality-related challenges and improvements.
• Ensure quality issues are properly investigated, root causes are identified, and corrective actions are effectively implemented.
• Manage the Customer Quality Development program, working closely with clients to resolve quality concerns and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, providing insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Lead audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Ensure that all team members are properly trained and have the tools to deliver quality results.
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Degree preferred, HNC or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Experience:
• Substantial experience in a volume manufacturing environment (automotive experience is a plus).
• Proven track record in Quality Assurance within manufacturing.
• Strong experience in Customer Quality Development.
• Previous experience as a Plant Quality Manager or in a leadership role within a similar function.
• Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
