Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist - Pelvic Health - 1 year fixed term - 37.5hpw

This is an opportunity for a band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist to work within the Pelvic Health team.

Please note, this role will be based at the Pilgrim Hospital site, Boston, however you may be asked on occasion to work at other sites within the Trust. You will complete a combination of speciality specific in- and outpatient work which will support pregnant and postpartum people and uro-gynaecological and bowel dysfunction.

Our team is highly focussed on supporting your development and we work hard to ensure you will receive 1:1 supervision, regular training/peer support.

All physiotherapists benefit from protected CPD time.

The post will be full time and will work as part of a 7-day service. There will be an expectation to support an appropriate speciality for weekend cover working no more than 1 in 4 weekends with enhanced pay for weekend work and time back during the week.

You will be based within the Physiotherapy Outpatient Department and will become part of a wider Pelvic Health team which covers all hospital sites within ULTH. There is a Pelvic Health Clinical Specialist based at Lincoln hospital who will co-ordinate your supervision and training requirements. The Site Lead Physiotherapist for the Pilgrim hospital is also a Pelvic Health Clinical Specialist.

You will complete a combination of speciality specific in- and outpatient work which will support pregnant and postpartum people and uro-gynaecological and bowel dysfunction. The Perinatal Pelvic Health Service is currently being implemented and the postholder will be instrumental in supporting newly appointed Therapy Assistants.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincoln Hospital is a thriving university city and with the opening of the medical school, it provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
