Job summary – What to expect:

The Director of EMEA Strategic Partner Accounts will be responsible for regional Strategic Partner Accounts Excellence within the CooperVision business throughout the EMEA Region, with the aim of delivering accelerated profitable sales and share growth in line with LRSP within a sustainable business framework.

You’ll provide leadership guidance and support to Head of Sales and Key Account Managers, with a specific focus on building superior Key Account competencies to accelerate enhanced JBP and score carding, while supporting (or leading) SPA contract negotiations. You’ll play a leadership role in further building our Thought Leadership (e.g., category growth programs, patient journey, omnichannel, ESG) and strengthening top customer strategic partnership (e.g., T2T, WoW days, Innovation Centre visits). With the growing importance of Myopia Management within SPA, you’ll also play a critical role in driving MiSight accelerated growth across all key customers.

You’ll have an overall responsibility on the following tasks and results through the indirect management of +10 SPA country KAMs.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Monitors and evaluates SPA customer sales performance versus target, working with market HoS and KAMs to ensure quarterly and annual commitments are achieved, taking corrective action as required.
  • Engages directly and indirectly with largest EMEA customers as required, supporting country KAMs in the context of customer centric business planning, enhanced JBP, true scorecard and strategic alignment with the customer.
  • Develop clear strategies and plans to further build our Thought Leadership (e.g., T2T/WoW days, category growth programs, patient journey, omnichannel, ESG, supply chain…) and lead category growth leveraging our strategic priorities (1D, MiSight, Presbyopia...)
  • Support or coordinates (e.g., Afflelou, , Synsam) customer contract negotiation with the lead market & in partnership with other markets. Secure value creation behind pricing/freight and more conditional rebates.
  • Partner with Finance to deliver SPA customer more detailed financials (e.g., P&L, ROI…) to make more informed decisions.
  • Closely collaborate with EMEA Head of Ecom channel to build omnichannel capability and deliver a frictionless GTM.
  • Ensure that all aspects of dealings with SPA are conducted in line with EMEA guidelines (pricing, legal, financial & operational)
  • Ensure proper embedding and operationalization of KAM new competency model across markets.
  • Refresh and enhance SPA strategies (e.g., customer centric business planning, value added services) and explores strategic opportunities in support of business goals.
  • Lead SPA network to drive capabilities and Share & Reapply of Best Practices.
