You will play a critical role in ensuring our production teams are supplied on time, in full, and in spec—no surprises, no waste.

Lead Supplier Relationships

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with suppliers and account managers.
  • Act as the key point of contact—managing expectations, solving problems, and keeping communication proactive and professional.

Be the Voice Between Teams

  • Act as the communicator between commercial, technical, operations, and logistics teams.
  • Coordinate regular updates, align on weekly/monthly priorities, and ensure delivery plans are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Liaise with 3PLs and internal logistics teams to coordinate inbound delivery slots, consolidation opportunities, and returns.

Order a Wide Range of Product Types

  • Manage purchasing across fresh, dry, long-life, ready-to-go and packaging categories.
  • Raise and confirm purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Take Charge When Plans Change

  • Handle shortfalls, delivery delays, and product rejections quickly and confidently.
  • Communicate updates and solutions to stakeholders across the business to minimise impact.

Run the Show on Stock Counts

  • Lead weekly stock counts in partnership with the warehouse and operations team.
  • Ensure inventory data is accurate, discrepancies are resolved, and movements are properly communicated.
  • Ensure stock levels align with available space in the warehouse by managing high minimum order quantities.

Manage Your Own Categories

  • Own specific product groups from end to end.
  • Monitor supplier performance, anticipate potential issues, and drive improvements.
  • Use historical data and forward-looking assumptions to refine weekly forecast accuracy and stock coverage models.
  • Take ownership of the daily mechanics of inventory movement, demand planning, and supplier performance across our fast-paced, recipe-led supply chain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structured process execution, data interrogation, and cross-functional problem-solving. You will play a critical role in ensuring our production teams are supplied on time, in full, and in spec—no surprises, no waste.
  • Analyse SKU-level demand changes, especially for high-variance or perishable items, and recommend action.

Run Key Meetings & Cross-Team Forums

  • Lead weekly inbound planning meetings, ensuring all upcoming deliveries are understood and managed.
  • Facilitate weekly operational reviews, sharing supply chain updates, performance insights, and upcoming risks.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s with suppliers or internal contacts, to keep communication strong and partnerships productive.

Spot and Deliver Improvements

  • Identify inefficiencies in supplier processes or internal operations.
  • Drive change with confidence—whether that’s refining order management, improving data accuracy, or smoothing out communication loops.
  • This is not just a scheduling role—it’s about understanding the ‘why’ behind every number, anticipating problems before they hit the floor, and constantly refining the engine that powers our customer promise.
  • Maintain visibility of critical path items, temperature-controlled SKUs, and short shelf-life products.

Your profile

  • Charismatic Communicator: You naturally build rapport and communicate clearly and confidently across teams and levels.
  • Relationship-Builder: You know how to manage supplier and stakeholder relationships with trust, professionalism, and positivity.
  • Team Player Who Leads: You’re always willing to collaborate, but you also know when to take the lead to keep things moving.
  • Highly Organised & Calm Under Pressure: You can juggle multiple priorities without losing focus or clarity.
  • Detail-Oriented, People-First: You care about the numbers—but also about the people behind them.
  • Spreadsheet-Savvy: Comfortable using Google Sheets to track orders, stock, and performance data.
  • Positive & Proactive: You bring a “can-do” attitude and are always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
