Position: Senior Project Planner
Location: Worksop
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to lead programme development and delivery across complex projects. This role combines strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership. Ideal for a technically confident, commercially aware professional ready to drive performance and innovation.
What You'll Do:
- Provide expert planning input for tenders and maintain accurate contract records.
- Lead planning and coordination, ensuring all programmes comply with project and factory business plans.
- Advise on cost-effective construction and manufacturing strategies through collaboration.
- Analyse project performance, identify risks, recommend improvements, and communicate strategies clearly.
- Develop and maintain programmes throughout all project stages, integrating 3D CAD models and optimising sequences.
- Monitor key milestones, production outputs, resource requirements, and ensure timely project completion.
- Manage contract time-related issues and ensure compliance through functional audits.
- Lead, mentor, and support your planning team to foster growth and best practices.
- Coordinate time-related information with all stakeholders, partners, and supply chains.
- Drive process improvements and implement innovative planning techniques.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience managing a team of planners.
- Broad mindset to support multiple sectors and project types.
- Familiarity with DFMA a bonus, but not essential.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities with confidence and clarity.
- Degree or relevant experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Strong leadership, communication, and software skills (P6 & ASTA).
