We currently have a vacancy for Band 5 Community Nurse within the East Area Evening & Overnight Nursing Service working 9 hours per week. The Overnight Nursing Service work across Wrexham and Flintshire counties and are based in Wrexham.
The hours of work are overnight predominantly from 10.30 pm – 8.00 am and will include weekend working. There will also be a need to be flexible to support the Evening Service if required. Post registration experience is required.
Main duties of the job
The aim of these posts is to support improved service provision, to reduce unnecessary patient hospital admissions and support early discharge home over a 24 hour period, providing both planned and unscheduled nursing care services to patients within Wrexham and Flintshire.
Full induction into the posts will be supported, with opportunities for further career development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- NMC Registered Nurse
- Evidence of post registration study and training eg POVA, Child protection, intermediate life support
