Fraser ward have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse, who is motivated to provide evidence based, person centred care to patients experiencing acute mental health illness. This post is 21.6 hours per week, in line with the AfC Reduced Working Week. The post holder will be expected to carry out rotational shift work, across both dayshift and nightshift. Hours and availability to be discussed further at interview.
Fraser Ward is an Acute Adult Mental Health ward, looking after patients who are aged 18-65 from Aberdeenshire. The ward also accepts CAMHS admission and works closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for patients.
The post holder must be a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, and should be aware of up to date drivers and legislation relating to patient care within this field of nursing. The post holder must have an NMC registration and a motivation to develop their skills in the adult mental health environment.
