Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

The Senior Internal Auditor plays a key role in leading and executing the company’s SOX 404 compliance program. This position requires a deep understanding of internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting processes. You will work independently and collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute end-to-end SOX 404 testing, including planning, walkthroughs, control testing, and deficiency evaluation.
  • Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Partner with business process owners to ensure timely remediation of control deficiencies.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior auditors on SOX methodologies and best practices.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to support reliance on internal testing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the SOX program, including automation and control rationalization initiatives.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and emerging risks impacting SOX compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX 404, COSO framework, and PCAOB standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Experience with audit management software and data analytics tools is a plus.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
  • Perform other duties, as needed, in support the Mission, Vision, and goals of the Internal Audit function.


Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
