Role And Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

The Integrated Marketing Group (IMG) Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and orchestrating multiple high-performing teams within the marketing department to deliver impactful, measurable, and efficient marketing strategies. This individual will ensure alignment across various marketing fields to drive business objectives, enhance brand equity, and improve consumer engagement. The director will lead efforts to integrate planning, execution, and performance evaluation across teams while championing data-driven decision-making. The IMG Director is responsible for promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability in marketing, with a focus on data-driven strategies. In addition, this will be a go to two IC to the Senior Director.

  • Brand Marketing Leadership:
  • Enhance key brand health metrics, including consideration, purchase intent, and pride of ownership.
  • Develop creative, consumer-focused campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the media and partnerships teams to ensure brand messaging consistency.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify shifts in consumer sentiment and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Media Team Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a strategic media calendar encompassing launches, promotions, and events.
  • Drive measurable improvements in reach, engagement, and overall media efficiency.
  • Apply data-driven insights to optimise media spend and return on investment.
  • Ensure media efforts are integrated across paid, earned, and owned channels.
  • Lead our agencies and partners to innovate on behalf of Samsung, in order to increase cut through, engagement and consideration.
  • Partnerships and Services Team Leadership:
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships that align with brand values and extend relevance and reach.
  • Build programs that measurably improve consumer consideration through co-branded initiatives.
  • Foster relationships with external partners to unlock unique growth opportunities.
  • Ensure partnership initiatives deliver tangible business and consumer benefits.
  • Project Management Office (PMO) Team Leadership:
  • Oversee departmental planning and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across all marketing initiatives.
  • Implement tools and processes to improve project tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure cross-team collaboration and communication for seamless project execution.
  • Identify risks and proactively address bottlenecks to maintain project timeliness and quality.
  • Agency Management Leadership:
  • Lead relationships with advertising agencies to drive efficiency, creativity, and agility.
  • Automate creative production workflows to enable faster pivots in strategy and execution.
  • Ensure agency deliverables align with brand standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Implement performance-based evaluation frameworks to measure agency effectiveness.


Your Key People Management Responsibilities

  • Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose & value and define the key areas of focus and direction.
  • Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.
  • Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.
  • Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT’s and relevant business updates.
  • Manage the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members.
  • Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner.
  • To be accountable for ensuring your team are aligned with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values.


What We Need For This Role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred).
  • shown experience in integrated marketing roles, with proven experience in leadership positions.
  • Consistent history of crafting and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management skills with expertise in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Critical thinking with the ability to align departmental efforts with overarching business goals.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of media, branding, partnerships, and agency dynamics.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and data interpretation.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work setting.
