A well-established, semi-rural veterinary practice in the scenic market town of Leominster is seeking a confident and skilled Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical focus to join its large, collaborative team. Situated in beautiful Herefordshire, with additional opportunities to work occasionally at a nearby practice in Ludlow, this role offers a perfect balance of clinical challenge, mentorship, and lifestyle.
The successful candidate will join a highly experienced team comprising several vets, 9 nurses, and 8 reception/admin professionals. With a varied caseload and a strong support system, the role allows the vet to focus fully on delivering exceptional care to clients and their petswithout the distractions of on-call or bank holiday commitments.

Working Pattern:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- 1 in 6 Saturdays (no on-call or bank holidays)
- Flexible and part-time options will be considered
- Performing surgical procedures and consultations to a high clinical standard
- Communicating clearly with clients and providing excellent patient updates
- Creating tailored treatment plans with transparent costings
- Participating in clinical handovers and ensuring continuity of care
- Collaborating with colleagues across two practices for integrated team support
- Sharing and promoting clinical best practices
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues where needed
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident in soft tissue and routine surgeries
- Experienced in collaborative, team-based veterinary environments
- Committed to delivering a high standard of care to patients and clients
- Familiar with nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures
- Keen to work in a supportive setting with mentorship opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
