HR Coordinator


Fixed term contract for 12 months


The HR Coordinator is crucial in supporting the HR and broader Uptake team to deliver a bold, joyful and high-performance culture that empowers people to grow and thrive.

In this role, you will work with the HR team to deliver administrative tasks associated with employee lifecycle management, benefits administration, people analytics, engagement surveys, capability programme implementation and other best-in-class HR practices and processes.


Key responsibilities:

HR Support & Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Handle internal and external HR-related inquiries, including employment verification requests and reference checks
  • Produce ad hoc reports for managers and project teams as required, ensuring that all our business systems, Bamboo, CMap and Asana are updated in a timely way
  • Draft paperwork for employment changes such as secondments, role transitions, promotions, and internal moves
  • Manage system updates to reflect changes in employment terms and conditions
  • Conduct right-to-work checks and ensure new hires are onboarded adequately within HR systems (Bamboo, CMap, Eloomi)

Employee Benefits Administration:

  • Address employee queries regarding benefits and assist with enrolment, opt-outs, and coverage modifications on platforms such as Calm, Specsavers, and Bupa PMI
  • Organise benefits-related activities such as health checks and flu voucher distribution
  • Prepare relevant documentation for benefits renewal processes

Employee Engagement & Feedback Initiatives:

  • Assist in the design and deployment of Employee Engagement surveys via SurveyMonkey
  • Draft survey-related communications and follow up to ensure maximum participation
  • Analyse survey results, compare findings with previous surveys, and extract insights to inform HR strategies
  • Consolidate exit interviews, recruitment, and onboarding feedback, highlighting key themes and areas for improvement

Onboarding & Offboarding Processes:

  • Collaborate with People Managers to plan and execute comprehensive onboarding schedules
  • Support offboarding processes, including recalculating annual leave and monitoring completion of exit-related tasks in Asana

Capability Programme Implementation Support:

  • Manage employee accounts on Eloomi, ensuring proper setup and closure
  • Develop and coordinate project plans for capability programmes in collaboration with Senior HR and Capability Managers
  • Assist in communication planning, including the creation of invitations, agendas, and feedback surveys
  • Research and manage logistics for external venues related to capability programmes
  • Collate a list of free training resources, online learning materials, and books to support capability programmes and maintain an online resource centre on the company intranet


Qualifications & Skills:

  • HR or Business-related degree
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to analyse data and present findings
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
