- Proactively lead and manage a team of 4 Project Managers to create a high-performing delivery team within manufacturing
- Responsible for leading a multifunctional team to delivery against all NPD deliverables.
- Work closely with and hold to account all stakeholders & departments to drive NPD and DB&T plans, on time, to quality and cost.
- Create and maintain cost plans for the team, in line with the cost to profit centre strategy
- Lead and manage the performance of the team to contribute to the EBITDA target, by ensuring all objectives (KPIs) are met
- Manage the overall team opportunity for forecasting and capacity management purposes, and hold regular reviews
- Directly own or be personally involved in relationships with key internal customers
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of leading and managing a high-performing project teams (of four or more people), with a proven track record in achieving team targets, ideally in engineering and manufacturing industry
- Financially and commercially savvy, customer focused, quality and results driven is a must
- Technically minded, preferably with an engineering qualification - able to understand and learn about a wide range of products, sequencing and new product development
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills - communicates clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders (internal and external)
- Excellent leadership and management skills, a track record of motivating, inspiring and supporting individuals and teams to be their best and grow
