Location: Truro Office with travel across Mid & West Cornwall

Hours: Part Time

Salary: Pro-rata of £27,000/year (based on full-time equivalent)

Are you a passionate professional with a Level 3 (or higher) Health & Social Care qualification? Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is seeking a dedicated Training & Development Coordinator to ensure our team has the skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust training strategy to meet business needs.
  • Deliver induction and ongoing training for all staff groups.
  • Ensure compliance with national care standards and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records and systems.
  • Collaborate with management to support staff development and quality care.
  • Participate in external meetings and contribute to business growth.
  • Take part in on-call duties on a rota basis.

Essential Criteria:

  • Health & Social Care qualification (Level 3 or higher).
  • Excellent communication skills and a supportive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Knowledge of care sector regulations and standards.
  • Experience in planning and delivering staff training.

Desirable:

  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or similar qualification.

Schedule:

Day shifts, Monday to Friday

Weekend availability may be required
