Role: Senior Domain Specialist - Public Sector

Location: Birmingham - CV1 (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Package: £49,000 - £50,000 plus large company benefits, company car, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday Interview Process: 2-stage process

Role purpose:

SCC Flex Resourcing is a division within SCC, dedicated to providing strategic workforce solutions across the public & commercial Sector. Our team specializes in delivering high-quality Statement of Work (SOW) services based on T&M, ensuring seamless project delivery through expert-led engagement. We have over 200 contractors working under the Flex Division and looking to scale to 500 in the next 2 years.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead SOW sales initiatives, identifying opportunities within public sector clients and frameworks.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with public sector stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Navigate and leverage public sector procurement frameworks, ensuring compliance and maximizing opportunities.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and service expansion.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to tailor flex resourcing solutions to client needs.
  • Provide thought leadership and industry insights, positioning SCC as a trusted partner in public sector resourcing.
Skills and experience:
  • Extensive experience in SOW sales, supporting public sector clients.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector frameworks and procurement regulations.
  • Proven ability in business development, with a track record of generating new opportunities.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, fostering trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to develop value-driven resourcing strategies.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with 3 days per week in our Birmingham office.
