Job Description

Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) are currently looking for a Junior Assistant Accountant.

The Assistant Accountant provides support to the finance team and wider business with monthly management accounts reporting, treasury management and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treasury management, bank reconciliations, daily cash book tracking and month end cash reporting.
  • Production and maintenance of month end balance sheet reconciliations. Support to be provided to accounts team for more complex balance sheet accounts.
  • Management of fixed asset register.
  • Calculation and processing of general ledger journals.
  • Analysis of administrative expenditure and partnering with budget holders to support them in managing the expenditure.
  • Ensure that relevant and timely financial information is made available to the company in a format that meets the expectations/requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Continuously challenge the way we work and actively identify areas of where change can improve the performance within Finance and in the way this department serves others in the company. Make the identified changes as quickly as practical. Participate in, and support, company-wide change initiatives.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
