What you'll be doing


As Procurement Administrator you will provide a range of general administrative duties to the Programme Procurement Team and other functions within the Programme.

The role sits within the Programme Procurement Team and will work closely with all members of the team to ensure successful delivery of the Programme outcomes.

The following are the key responsibilities of the role.

  • Undertake a full range of administrative duties to ensure an efficient service is delivered to allocated team.
  • Screen incoming emails on behalf of team and manage all appropriate correspondence.
  • Be fully conversant in MS Office to produce a range of spreadsheets, documents and presentations, as required.
  • Perform ad hoc confidential work, as required.
  • Maintain accurate and electronic filing systems, including archiving.

The following skills and experience are required:

  • Able to effectively manage time and deliver against deadlines, setting own goals and being proactive in seeking and driving improvements
  • Organised and proactive – Process Improvement mind-set
  • Positive and proactive approach to all aspects of work
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of people in the organisation
  • Excellent team player, able to work as part of different size teams but also independently where required
  • Excellent skills in excel in order to analyse data and suggest improvements
  • Flexible in approach to work, recognising patterns of work and being able to proactively support full department
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with data inputting and reporting.
  • Ability to achieve security clearances including BPSS and SC.
