Required for our client based in their office in Essex. Our client is a leading Crane supplier to the UK for the Construction, and Civil Engineering industry. The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships and expanding market presence for the company around ales, rental and service organisation.

Sales Manager Job Overview
- Develop and implement effective strategies to penetrate new markets and expand customer base, identify, evaluate, and target potential clients and market segments in the industry.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing ongoing support and maintaining long-term partnerships
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our industrial tunnelling fans.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for industrial tunnelling fan rentals.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments, identifying potential threats and opportunities.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate pricing, invoicing, and timely collection of payments.
- Strong knowledge of crane hire or plant hire experience is a must.
- Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within construction or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, engineering, or a related field would be beneficial
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical skills to gather market intelligence and identify business opportunities.
- Lift planning experience or Appointed Person credentials will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Salary: Up to £65,000
- Commission
