What will you do?
You will work as part of the group pricing team, helping deliver the best commercial decisions for the business. This will be achieved by implementing the pricing strategies across the group’s businesses, setting guidance levels, Template pricing, passing on inflation and supporting with branch queries.

You will work as part of the group pricing team, helping deliver the best commercial decisions for the business. This will be achieved by implementing the pricing strategies across the group’s businesses, setting guidance levels, Template pricing, passing on inflation and supporting with branch queries.
Some accountabilities of the role:
- Support the delivery of the pricing strategy by setting and maintaining pricing levels in the system
- Liaising with Category and Sales Teams to ensure the pricing strategy supports the broader business objectives
- Analyse pricing trends and impact of pricing strategy and make recommendations to deliver against our pricing/margin objectives
- Provide accurate, consistent and meaningful reporting to both the team and wider business to understand and improve category profitability, sales and customer appeal
- Key point of contact for the business on all things pricing, including pricing strategy, competitor pricing, cost price increases.
- Plan and manage small scale projects to support business initiatives or investigate the underlying reasons behind performance variances
- Continuously challenge current processes and recommend improvements to all aspects of reporting and analysis.
- Be an active member of the team who seeks out new opportunities and has a willingness to work across all areas of the team to assist others
