You'd be based at the Ramsgate facility and you will be responsible for the NDT inspection of aircraft components, with a focus towards aviation safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret codes, standards and other contractual documents
- Assume technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.
- Preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures in the specified method.
- Approve NDT procedures and other NDT-related work instructions for technical adequacy.
What we are looking for
- EN4179/NAS410 Non-Destructive Testing Magnetic Particle Testing Qualification.
- EN4179/NAS410 Non-Destructive Testing Penetrant Testing Qualification.
- Experience within an aerospace NDT environment.
- Experience in reading and interpreting manufacturer's overhaul and repair manuals.
- Experience in utilising MT Bench equipment with fluorescent detecting media.
- Experience in utilising PT Fluorescent water washable and fluorescent post-emulsifiable systems.
- Experience developing audit checklists applicable to the NDT facility and conducting audits.
