AJ Case Management was established to offer bespoke clinical services and support in everyday activities to our clients, enabling them to live a fulfilling and happy life.

We have an amazing opportunity for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team in Maidenhead and support a young Girl living with Cerebral Palsy. Our client is very sociable and enjoys part-taking in various activities both at home and in the community.

Due to the nature of the client, this position is for female applicants only.

What You'll Be Working

  • Full time 36hrs per week
  • Pay rate: £16.00 - £17.00 an hour, Monthly Pay

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with play and entertainment, helping to choose activities after school or on weekends, such as sensory activities, reading, and playtime.
  • Provide support with personal cares & Mobility.
  • Support her physical wellbeing through activities such as physiotherapy.
  • Administer medication as required.

Full training, handovers, and shadow shifts will be provided to all staff members.

What You'll Have

  • We are looking for someone who is professional, energetic, hardworking, and confident.
  • While previous experience working with physically disabled children or young adults is preferred, training can be provided for the right person.
  • Have a minimum 6 months experience with young children.
  • Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector.
  • Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities.
  • Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector.
  • Be reliable and adaptable with excellent organizational skills.
  • Be IT literate to include Microsoft Applications.
