Responsibilities
Working Hours
Our core working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm, with some flexibility required around weekends and events. There will be occasional evening and weekend work, particularly during store openings and events. Where applicable, any extra hours worked will be given back as time off in lieu.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Brand & Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the organic social strategy across the Lucy & Yak channels to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Daily scheduling/posting of content across (but not limited to) Meta (including Facebook Community Group), TikTok, X, YouTube, Shorts & Threads.
- Work with the Social Media Coordinator to create fun, trend-led content for our weekly schedule - testing and learning to drive engagement further.
- Create and post daily Instagram Stories.
- Work with the Brand & Social Media Manager and Social Media Coordinator to create community lead competitions and challenges for the Facebook Community Group.
- Attend shoots and events (including store openings) to capture content.
- Assist with the editing of all social content (video and imagery) to be shared across our channels.
- Discover UGC from influencers, celebrities and our community to share with the Brand & Social Media Manager and PR Manager for potential regrams or opportunities.
- Monitor conversations, engage with followers & build Lucy & Yak’s community across all channels.
- Support the Brand & Social Media Manager and Social Media Coordinator with weekend posting schedule.
- Raise awareness around Lucy & Yak as a brand, in a fun, positive & inspiring way.
- Watch what our competitors/other brands are doing to stay ahead of the trend.
- Stay up to date with trends and new platforms to share with the wider Social Team.
- Help to create game-changing, innovative and exciting ideas to take the brand forwards on social media.
- Brighton-based or willing to relocate quickly
- Social media native - up to date on trends and how TikTok/Instagram works
- Creative mindset with a sense of humour
- Highly organised with an eye for detail
- Proactive, with a genuine interest in brand marketing
- A team player with strong communication skills
- Experience using photoshop is a bonus but not a must
- Ready to hit the ground running, things move fast here!
