We’re looking for a highly analytical, customer-obsessed and results-driven Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of onsite conversion and broader ecommerce performance at Lucy & Yak.
This is a key role in our growing digital team, with a core focus on identifying friction in the customer journey and delivering high-impact solutions that improve experience and drive revenue. From A/B testing and UX enhancements to optimising trading performance and managing key online operations, you’ll play a central part in how we deliver our brand and grow online.
Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce and working closely with Digital Marketing, CRM, Creative, Tech and Brand, you’ll blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll understand what makes our customer tick and use this to shape a best-in-class onsite journey across discovery, product, checkout and beyond.

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO):

Responsibilities —
Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO):
- Own and lead the ecommerce CRO strategy across web and app, delivering initiatives that improve conversion, AOV and customer retention.
- Develop and implement a robust testing roadmap, including A/B and multivariate tests, focused on optimising the full user journey.
- Use tools like GA4, heatmaps, session recordings and surveys to identify friction points and drop-offs in the funnel.
- Analyse site data and customer behaviour to surface actionable insights and inform optimisation priorities.
- Work closely with the Junior Developer and Digital team to brief, implement, QA and launch CRO tests and enhancements.
- Collaborate with CRM, Brand and Digital Marketing teams to ensure campaign landing pages are relevant, high-performing and aligned with customer needs.
- Maintain a test-and-learn culture across the team, encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Regularly report on test results, site performance and CRO KPIs to wider business stakeholders.
- Manage the day-to-day trading of the site, ensuring products, collections and campaigns are launched on time and merchandised to perform.
- Monitor and optimise key ecommerce metrics including sales, traffic, AOV, conversion and customer behaviour.
- Own and manage the ecommerce calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing, brand and merchandising.
- Support the planning and execution of product drops, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- Collaborate with operations, merchandising and customer service to ensure the end-to-end customer journey is seamless and optimised.
- Ensure the website is always up-to-date, high-functioning and reflective of brand and customer needs.
- Support international ecommerce growth and site enhancements where relevant.
- Partner with third-party agencies and platforms to deliver ongoing improvements, tools and capabilities.
- Stay ahead of ecommerce trends, tools, competitors and emerging technologies.
- Strong experience in ecommerce management, ideally within a DTC, lifestyle or retail brand.
- Proven track record of delivering both CRO and commercial wins through data-led decision making.
- Deep knowledge of CRO tools (GA4, Hotjar/Convert, etc.) and testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of trading, product merchandising and digital marketing principles.
- Analytical mindset, you love digging into data, spotting patterns, and finding opportunities.
- Confidence working with developers and cross-functional teams to bring your ideas to life.
- A keen eye for UX and detail, balancing performance with beautiful brand execution.
- Clear, proactive communicator and a natural collaborator.
- Organised, calm under pressure and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- A genuine passion for great customer experience and continuous improvement.
