We are currently seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor to work 1:1 with a bright and resilient a 13-year-old girl living with a brain injury and complex learning needs in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
The child is currently out of formal education and requires a nurturing, structured, and person-centred approach to learning.

What You'll Be Working
- Part time role
- Working 4 hours per week
- Location: Market Harborough, Leicestershire

What You'll Be Doing
- Provide tailored educational support in a safe and supportive home or community setting.
- Develop and deliver engaging, creative learning activities aligned with the child’s cognitive and emotional needs.
- Focus on building trust, confidence, and core academic and life skills at a pace suited to the child’s development.
- Work collaboratively with parents, therapists, and other professionals involved in the child’s care.
- Proven experience supporting children with SEN, particularly brain injury, or learning difficulties.
- Understanding of trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to education.
- Patient, compassionate, and flexible teaching style.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Ability to work independently, with a child-led and needs-led approach.
- Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support (e.g., QTS, HLTA, SEN diploma/certificates).
- Experience working outside of mainstream settings (e.g., EOTAS and home education).
- Knowledge of assistive technology or alternative communication methods
