The role of UX/UI Designer is a key part of our Product team and is responsible for assisting to constantly improve the experience for our customers. As a UX/UI Designer you will work closely with the Product and Engineering teams at Tillo to build a superb digital experience for our expanding network of global customers. You will be responsible for designing user interfaces that not only look great, but which make it simpler for customers to navigate the platform.

Main Duties And Areas Of Responsibility
- Visual and interactive design across Tillo’s products and services
- Researching and understanding the what and why of projects, solving problems and identifying opportunities with the goal of developing new and improved experiences for our customers and stakeholders
- Working closely with our engineers to own the user experience and design of new features from conception until release
- Helping develop Tillo’s design system, maintaining design standards and consistency across all Tillo products with clear direction and documentation
- Passionate about UX/UI, with an avid interest in what defines a great user experience today and in the distant tomorrow.
- Passionate about understanding the what and the why of problems and testing these hypotheses with data.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative user research methods with experience in presenting your findings to the team and wider business.
- Experience developing problem/opportunity statements to data supported concepts. Developing these concepts to engineer and stakeholder approved designs
- Able to work alone and in groups to solve complex problems with an eye for detail and the goal of simplicity.
- Happy to present your work and listen to the feedback knowing that working together we can make our best work.
- Positive mindset and action orientated
What we’re looking for
- Confident in taking ownership of projects and communicating their status to the wider team
- Ability to communicate and articulate design decisions to the team highlighting risks and opportunities, defining ideals and MVP versions of products
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative methods of user research and testing
- High level of competency using Figma, Adobe and user data products.
- Experience working in collaborative environments alongside other UX designers, as well as other departments including developers and product managers
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience using Adobe After effects
- Experience in SaaS or Fintech environments

Compensation Range: £41.6K - £46.7K
