You’ll be joining our Stockport Head office, home to 18 showrooms, our Conference Centre, staff Wellness Hub, a truly state-of-the-art gym - fully loaded with Peloton bikes & every piece of gym equipment you can imagine. An indoor astroturf pitch, chat boxes & creative corners creative spaces. Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & many more.
To be a high performing Senior Key Account Manager at adidas means working with one of our leading retailers across targeted categories (e.g apparel, footwear, accessories) to deliver sustainable market share growth in support of our brand goals. It means taking ownership for the commercial success of your assigned key account and catergories. It means leading with clarity, confidence and recommendations to enable tough decisions to be made and creating a culture of high performance and belonging in adidas. Senior Key Account Manager’s work collaboratively and strive for the best results in whatever they do.
What You’ll Do
We operate a flexible hybrid model with 3 days in the office and the flexibility for you to choose where you work from home on the other 2 days. Additionally, we want to accommodate candidates wherever possible with one of our many different flexible working policies, whatever your situation, working around childcare, dependants, or other life commitments.

What You’ll Do
- Brand Representation: As the brand ambassador, you’ll embody our brand values when interacting with stakeholders. Whether it’s customers, partners, or internal functions, your actions reflect our identity.
- Understanding Accounts: Dive into the specifics of assigned accounts. Know their nuances, preferences, and pain points.
- Strategic Planning: Develop robust account strategies. Document these in Account Strategic account plans.
- Sell-Out & Order Book: Continuously monitor sell-out data and manage orders efficiently.
- Trade Terms Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate & implement trade terms to benefit both parties.
- Provide accurate plans and forecasts for customer performance.
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Proven experience in Planning, Selling and Negotiating
- Strong communication skills: written, oral and presentation
- In depth understanding of local markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs
- Strategy: ability to develop and implement strategy
- Analytics: ability to analyse data to improve strategic decision making and implementation
- Creativity: ability to direct creative production and oversee implementation of marketing plans
