Active Communities Coordinator

To create and lead delivery of our activity programmes for people who find exercise a challenge - and responding to identified needs within our network.

To plan, organise and deliver community-led activities that are engaging and welcoming for all.

Coordinate all aspects of the delivery of the programme for people living with Dementia, loneliness and depression (Feel Good for Life) supervising and organising the operation of weekly sessions and promote the benefits of physical activity to all partners, volunteers and potential participants.

Support the creation of a range of high quality volunteering opportunities, as well as overseeing the recruitment, induction, engagement, and recognition of volunteers.

Record outcomes, evaluate and report on the impact of programmes to partners and key stakeholders.

Ensure programmes are delivered effectively and efficiently at all times.

Liaise with local organisations in the third sector, health, care and social services, managing all referrals and registrations onto the programmes.

To maintain comprehensive knowledge of best practice in equality and diversity, and safeguarding.
