The Supply Chain Planner supports the Procurement Team across a wide range of products, including frozen food, ambient food, soft drinks, alcohol, and impulse.

The role is within a fast-paced team where each day is different and requirements are varied. Order processing and administrative support will differ within the wide range of products. The role is designed to develop and expand procurement knowledge.

The position is office-based with attendance at events also required.

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced office.
  • Very strong administration skills.
  • Experience, knowledge, and ability to use Excel.
  • Purchase order creation experience.
  • Good communication skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Raising purchase orders for suppliers across all procurement categories.
  • Working on various supplier order systems and portals.
  • Inbound and outbound calendar management for two warehouses.
  • Chasing late or no-show deliveries.
  • Reporting delivery non-conformances.
  • New product set up.
  • Reviewing and solving invoice queries.
  • Chasing account debt when instructed.
  • Compiling Must Stock product lists for events on Excel and communicating changes.
  • BRCGS certificate support throughout the year for the procurement team.
  • General administration for the Buyers across all procurement categories.
  • Take into consideration sustainable solutions and best practices to ensure we take responsibility for reducing our impact on the environment and support the company-wide sustainability strategy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £27,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
