Senior Graphic Designer

Birmingham City Football Club is seeking a creative and driven Senior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing, Media & Brand department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer to bring innovation and energy to a wide range of creative projects, spanning across retail, ticketing, memberships, commercial events, and more.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving the Club’s visual identity across both Birmingham City FC and Birmingham City Women’s FC, producing high-quality design work for digital, print, and motion graphics, and mentoring junior designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging creative content across various departments, including digital assets, print collateral, merchandise, and more.
- Develop and implement seasonal styles for the Club that align with brand and audience expectations.
- Create artwork for social media, websites, email campaigns, and static/animated assets.
- Be a brand guardian for Birmingham City Women’s FC.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally and contribute to planning stages of creative campaigns.
- Present ideas confidently to senior stakeholders and support the Senior Brand Design Manager in leading projects.
- Mentor junior design team members and promote a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) – Mac-based.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior creatives.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with internal departments and external partners.
- A confident, creative thinker who is approachable, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office.
