Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week
As an Account Manager at Yü Energy, your primary responsibility is to take accountability for leading the engagement of our Business Account Customers.
From the moment a prospect agrees to become a Yü customer, you will manage the end-to-end interaction throughout their lifecycle. Your focus will be on onboarding performance, billing, revenue management and cash management performance and Smart Install bookings.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Accountable for managing Business Account customers accounts, including onboarding, billing, revenue management performance, and cash management performance.
- Strengthen day-to-day client relationships through exceptional client service, in-depth knowledge of the client’s industry and business and impeccable delivery and client engagement.
- Develop and manage key strategic relationships across key clients and stakeholders to drive successful engagement programs.
- Ensure risks and opportunities are fully understood and communicated, identifying the best ways of mitigating the key risks and maximizing the key opportunities.
- Support department-wide development initiatives.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of the energy industry.
- Monitor competitive activity within the assigned customers, being alert to any opportunities and threats.
- Analyse client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-department teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the line management and other stakeholders.
- Manage and support projects from end to end.
- Develop key relationships across the organisation and with third parties.
- Train new starters on processes and policies.
- Seek improvements in working processes and practices.
- Confidently promote effective communication within the wider team and cross-departmental.

- Possess a wealth of experience in customer account management, demonstrating an exceptional level of attention to detail.
- Described as consultative, insightful and effective, with an ability to communicate with precision both in written and verbal forms.
- Demonstrate proficiency in working seamlessly with cross-functional teams, highlighting a good understanding of the intricacies of collaborative efforts.
- Proactively adopt a collaborative and detail-oriented working style, demonstrating an ability to navigate complexity with ease.
- Display an ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, emphasising attention to detail and strategic decision-making.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office and other systems, leveraging technology with precision.
