Delivery Driver (Temporary Contract)

We are looking for a driver to join our team at Clive Mark Schoolwear. You must hold a clean UK driving licence and be able to work between 6am and 10pm. Please note this is a zero hours without fixed working hours for a period of approximately 3 months for our seasonal peak.

Clive Mark Schoolwear has been supplying school uniform for over 50 years, with a reputation for premium quality branded school clothes that are made to withstand the rigours of school life. As well as a fantastic range of school uniform and sportswear, we also stock a variety of bags and accessories and other useful must haves".

Duties and responsibilities:

• Loading/unloading stock into the van (not hgv)
• Delivering stock to stores, school events and customers
• Collecting stock from stores, school events and customers
• Assisting at school events - some customer facing duties
• Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times
• Ensure deliveries are received and stored correctly
• Work is carried out safely and correctly

Skills and experience required:

• Clean UK driving licence is essential
• Ideally have previous driving experience of at least 2 years
• Must be over 21 (this is a stipulation of our vehicle insurance provider)
• Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Able to work as part of a team or on your own
• Able to carry out manual handling activities - e.g. lifting and moving boxes/products
• Motivated and hardworking
• Friendly and presentable
• Good communicator
