Hours

Full time: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

About The Role

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Sales, Funding, Recruitment and Quality teams to attract and recruit new talent, while contributing to revenue generation.

You will play an important role in growing our apprenticeships and funded programmes, and sourcing new partner support. And while this is a new role, it reflects the strategic direction of the business – we’re looking for someone to play a key role in our recruitment strategy while achieving a high level of engagement and meeting enrolment targets. The ideal candidate will have a broad skills set in this field; experience specifically within the FE recruitment sector is advantageous.

As part of this role, you will be expected to travel to different parts of the UK and lead the deployment of engagement techniques for internal and external stakeholders in broadening the reputation and outreach of GTG Training to the community and beyond.

Day-to-day duties

  • Creating and initiating strategies to achieve the target lead generation and enrolment targets.
  • Using the data collected at networking events, ensuring a constant feed of engagement pipeline.
  • Embedding the EDI practice within the talent team through training, development and standardisation of delivery.
  • Providing support employer partners in talent acquisition, focussing on key EDI practices and mitigating any barriers to employment.
  • Perpetual analysis of the recruitment practice, with a specific focus on ROI for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing and planning staff workload to meet, and exceed, organisational KPIs.
  • Identifying relevant financial opportunities with new partners, with internal collaboration, to the benefit of our operational funded provisions.
  • Manage all business data, through robust reporting mechanisms, and share this with senior leaders.
  • Engage in marketing activities with employers and the wider community in line with GTG strategies where relevant.
  • Contribute to cross-GTG events.
  • Adhere to GTG policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any other duties that GTG consider appropriate.

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Minimum of three years’ continuous work experience in the field of talent acquisition
  • An understanding of apprenticeship standards and other funded programmes, e.g. Skill for Life campaign
  • An understanding of safeguarding in a FE setting (including Prevent)
  • Extensive experience of managing client/stakeholder relationships
  • Extensive experience in organising and managing an extensive events programme
  • Commercially focussed and driven by data and achieving targets
  • Articulate, with the ability to confidently communicate with people from varying backgrounds and cultures
  • Good standard of IT and administrative skills
  • Display initiative, be positive and enthusiastic
  • Be flexible and responsive to business needs
  • Abide by health and safety, equality and diversity regulations and laws
  • Be a team player
  • Ability to ensure a high level of professional behaviour
  • Possess a high level of professional attitude
  • Ability to respect confidentiality
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the process of continuous review and improvement
  • A current full and clean UK driving licence
