The Role
As a Digital Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in leading the adoption of cloud-based and emerging financial technologies across the firm. This is a varied and client-facing role, where you’ll be the go-to expert for digital tools, supporting both internal teams and clients with guidance, training, and implementation.
You Will
- Work closely with local teams to support the rollout of new technologies (e.g., OCR tools, cloud accounting platforms, and integrated apps) to solve client challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor on digital solutions, providing advice, training, and technical support.
- Engage and influence both internal stakeholders and clients to drive understanding and adoption of digital tools.
- Manage digital workstreams within larger transformation projects, maintaining clear timelines and deliverables.
- Continuously develop your fintech knowledge through training and system accreditations.
- Create and share insight through internal and external articles and newsletters.
- Provide technical support for systems and apps to colleagues and clients.
- Oversee billing for digital projects and ensure project costs are appropriately recovered.
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about digital innovation in the accounting space and can bring others on the journey with them.
You’ll Have
- AAT qualification or be studying towards one.
- Experience in a client-facing role, ideally within an accountancy practice.
- Solid understanding of double-entry accounting and how to read a P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Strong IT skills and confidence learning new systems.
- Experience using cloud platforms like Xero or QuickBooks Online.
- Knowledge of how apps and integrations enhance financial processes.
- Presentation or training delivery experience.
- Communicates clearly and confidently, with strong listening and influencing skills.
- Has a natural curiosity for how technology can improve processes.
- Is organised, able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- Enjoys helping others, coaching, and simplifying technical concepts.
- Brings energy, empathy, and drive to support change and innovation.
