Our Auckland CBD office is seeking an empathetic, experienced Counsellor for a fulfilling opportunity, giving you with the tools you need to support people the way they deserve to be taken care of – the Habit Health way.

This is full time permanent role and requires Saturday availability, ensuring consistent service and operations throughout the week.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver focused interventions so that clients ace coping mechanisms at work and life
  • Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption
  • Deliver counselling services via in-person, video and telehealth
  • Deliver training to customer employees

The Ideal Candidate

  • A strong sense of others – we’re looking for sensitivity and empathy as traits
  • Tertiary level Counselling or related qualification (Level 7 min)
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy models e.g. SFT, CBT, FACT
  • Current APC with NZAC, NZCCA, DAPAANZ, SWRB
  • Experience in trauma intervention, psychological first-aid
