Key Accountabilities
- The underlying learns and responsibilities of the portfolio manager will consist of:
- You will be involved in the structuring and origination of deals from enquiries through to agreeing Heads of Terms.
- You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of cases to maximise loan completions along with managing the full lifecycle of the development from initial drawdown through to completed developments.
- Producing credit reports for credit committee approval.
- Producing monthly portfolio reviews for credit committee.
- Good communication skills essential for dealing with brokers, borrowers, and lenders.
- Pass internal competency tests post induction.
- Construction knowledge is important and advantageous.
- The applicant should be joining the team from a specialist lender or challenger bank where they will have been working in the development finance team.
- Existing relationships with property professionals are advantageous.
- Experienced individual in a development finance team from a lender side.
- Ability to structure complex development finance facilities for brokers and direct customers.
- Ability to analyse valuation and monitoring surveyor reports.
