What are we looking for in this position?
- Manage the Managing Director's inbox, ensuring timely responses, prioritising important messages and drafting communications as needed.
- Maintain and coordinate the Managing Director's calendar, scheduling internal and external meetings, managing appointments and ensuring effective time management.
- Organise and prepare for meetings including, compiling documents, producing reports, producing agenda's, follow-up actions and producing presentations.
- Act as a gatekeeper and liaison between the Managing Director and Internal and External stakeholders.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks including expenses, invoice processing and liaising with the accountant on budget control.
- Support the wider organisation with ad-hoc communication needs and diary/travel arrangements.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the business by identifying opportunities to improve processes and business efficiencies.
What will we need you to have?

- Be based in our Peterborough Office Monday to Friday
- Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have excellent IT skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Planner)
- Ability to work in, and adapt to, a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work cooperatively with others to complete tasks
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload within a fast-paced environment
- Must have a minimum of 2-years proven experience as an Executive or Personal Assistant or in a similar senior administrative role.
- Experience with bookkeeping.
