The Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Product Owner to join our product team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our SaaS platforms. As a Product Owner at eyworks, you’ll be the bridge between business goals and engineering execution, championing the voice of the customer, refining product direction, and ensuring delivery of meaningful features that drive value and adoption.



Key Responsibilities


Product Vision & Roadmap

Define, articulate, and evolve the product vision and roadmap in alignment with strategic company goals and user needs.


Backlog Ownership

Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritised by value, and continuously refined in collaboration with stakeholders and developers.


User Stories & Requirements

Create clear and actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria. Translate complex requirements into simple, deliverable tasks for the development team.


Stakeholder Alignment

Act as the central point of contact between internal teams — including marketing, sales, customer success, and engineering — ensuring transparency, alignment, and shared priorities.


Agile Delivery

Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and QA engineers in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to deliver high-quality releases.


Customer & Market Insight

Gather insights through direct customer feedback, usage analytics, and market research to identify opportunities and guide decision-making.


Performance Tracking

Define success metrics and monitor product KPIs related to engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Use data to continuously improve the product experience.


Release Coordination

Oversee release planning and ensure smooth deployment of features, updates, and fixes across environments, with clear communication to all stakeholders.


Continuous Improvement

Proactively identify problems and opportunities to deliver enhanced value to users, focusing on optimising UX and business outcomes.



What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to write clear user stories and manage product backlog effectively
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, using data to inform strategy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment
  • Customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering intuitive and high-impact experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field



Nice to Have

  • CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) or similar certification
  • Experience in EdTech or childcare technology platforms
  • Familiarity with freemium or subscription-based SaaS models
  • Technical understanding of web-based architecture and cloud systems
