What you'll be doing

You’ll work closely with a variety of owner-managed businesses, overseeing audits from planning through to completion. You’ll lead on-site audit teams, ensure compliance with professional standards, and support process improvements. With a clear pathway to Supervisory Audit Senior, this role offers genuine opportunities for progression and career development.

  • Taking ownership of audits from planning to completion across a diverse client portfolio, ranging from small and large companies to partnerships and sole traders
  • Leading audit fieldwork on-site, identifying risk areas, and ensuring objectives are met
  • Attending and contributing to client meetings at all stages of the audit process, keeping the audit manager and RI informed as required
  • Mentoring and developing junior team members, building both their technical expertise and soft skills
  • Driving improvements in audit processes to boost efficiency and enhance client experience


What should you have

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in leading audits, with the ability to make decisions and escalate appropriately
  • In-depth knowledge of audit regulations, quality standards, and risk management
  • Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on building long-term partnerships
  • Proven leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and team development
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure
