We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. If you have outpatient MSK experience but would like to develop your skills, we would like to hear from you.
We are a dynamic and forward thinking hospital running a MAKO robotic orthopaedic centre for joint replacement surgery. In our Outpatient Physiotherapy Department we see a variety of musculoskeletal patients including orthopaedic patients both pre and post operatively, self-pay patients as well as consultant and GP referrals. We have specialist areas including offering treatments in hand therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, paediatrics, pelvic health, neurology and vestibular.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. Hours would be variable and flexible but particularly to cover post operative and MSK outpatient weekday and evening clinics

Duties Of This Role Include
- Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
- Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to team working and service improvement.
