Are you an experienced senior leader with a passion for customer excellence, operational performance, and inspiring teams? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment where you can shape strategic direction and drive results? If so, CCF wants you to lead our Northern Region to new heights as our next Regional Director.

Following an internal promotion, we’re now looking to appoint a Regional Director who is responsible for delivering our customer proposition and achieving operational excellence across 18 branches and an external sales team. You'll lead and mentor a team including a Regional Sales Director and 3 General Managers, ensuring performance, profitability, and colleague development align with CCF’s ambitious goals.

Locations Covered: This role oversees c.18 locations from Northampton upwards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion Safety: Drive a ‘Stay Safe’ culture and health & safety standards across all locations
  • Lead Customer Focus: Build and nurture key customer and supplier relationships to grow market share
  • Drive Sales & Growth: Develop a regional sales strategy and foster a high-performance sales culture in partnership with your Sales Director
  • Embed Change: Actively lead and promote change initiatives that modernise and enhance our business
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor KPIs, maintain standards, and ensure optimal branch layouts
  • Inspire People: Coach and mentor, drive succession planning, and cultivate an inclusive high-performance culture
  • Maximise Margin: Oversee pricing consistency, margin improvement, and financial planning

Who You’ll Be

  • You’ll have proven experience in a senior regional leadership role in a builders merchant, retail, or multi-site environment
  • You will have strong people leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
  • You’ll be a strategic thinker with operational and commercial acumen that aids in executing a business strategy
  • You will have experience in making wise investment and CapEx decisions
  • Demonstrable experience of growing a business, taking calculated risks to acquire market share
  • You will be recognised as a Health & Safety champion with the ability to drive cultural change
  • You will have a solid understanding of supply chain, financial performance, and competitive market activity
