KEY TASKS :

  • To develop AWP sales throughout the UK and Ireland building relationships from sales teams to director level.
  • Ensure AWP customers are fully aware of the entire range of products, services, and solutions.
  • Look to develop new markets and customers in all applicable areas.
  • Gain market share by growing accounts, selling to direct customers and via our selected access dealer network.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Promote the entire range of AWP products and services to all access customers. This includes ‘Services & Solutions’ as well as whole-goods.
  • Monthly update on sales forecast. Working under the sales director but will be working closely with the sales administration and marketing teams.
  • Attend all sales meetings, feedback information to customers, attend and present on Manitou training days throughout the year.
  • Provide knowledge & feedback on all AWP customers, understanding their needs as well as analysing the competition.
  • Prepare a sales budget for access customers in conjunction with the sales director.
  • Be responsible for all sales support and discounts to AWP customers.
  • Update and reporting on a weekly/monthly basis to the Sales and/or Managing Director.
  • Feedback information from the market including what the competition is up to.
  • Promotion of all the groups brands within the market and to all customers.
  • To attend all Dealer and Manitou trade shows and represent the company in a smart and professional manner.
  • Provide AWP support to ensure the image of Manitou is maintained and the relationships are strengthened.
  • To attend all access “expert” meetings, which are primarily held in France, and be responsible for training MUK sales and admin staff in all new developments.
  • Take responsibility for any demonstration units that are being used and ensure they are managed and utilised efficiently and effectively.

Skills & Experiences

Necessities

  • Experienced in access products and sales
  • Experience in the Capital Equipment market
  • Used to working as part of a team
  • Self driven, highly motivated and professional
  • Open, honest, hardworking team player of high integrity and able to communicate effectively both internally and externally

Beneficial

  • Experience in construction or industrial machine sales
  • Experience working within a multinational company
