Head of Supply Planning

Terumo Aortic are seeking a dynamic Head of Supply Planning to lead our end-to-end supply planning function across the business. You will lead the Global Supply Planning and Production Planning teams and play a key role in shaping planning strategy, short and long-term supply plans, and inventory policies aligned with our Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

You will be responsible for ensuring service levels of 98.5%+ across 13 global regions, overseeing 6,000+ finished goods SKUs, and driving improvements in planning processes and systems (SAP S4 Hana). Experience in medical device or healthcare manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Production Planning and Global Supply Planning teams
• Ensure high service levels across markets through effective supply planning
• Develop and manage long-range supply plans aligned with global SIOP strategy
• Design and enforce inventory policies across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Partner with the SIOP team to run monthly planning cycles and drive scenario analysis
• Act as business lead for planning-related SAP S4 Hana developments
• Escalate and resolve cross-functional supply issues in collaboration with Operations, Sales, and Customer Service
• Support future-state 3PL integration and planning process transformation
  
  

Who You Are

• 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing Planning, ideally in medical devices or healthcare
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S4 Hana in a planning environment
• Strong leadership presence, with a track record of managing high-performing teams
• Excellent Excel skills and comfort working with complex data models
• Confident communicator across all levels and functions
• Process-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid environment
