Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Carrier and Logistics Specialist to support our growing logistics team in delivering seamless end-to-end carrier solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global 3PL, working in a fast-paced environment supporting both client operations and global carrier management.


The successful candidate will play a key role in operational execution, carrier coordination, and data-driven optimisation, ensuring goods move efficiently across domestic and international networks.


Please be aware this role will be based on site, full time.


Key Responsibilities


  • Act as day-to-day liaison between the business and our carrier network, ensuring shipments are booked, tracked and resolved promptly
  • Coordinate and support inbound, outbound and reverse logistics movements across multiple brands, clients, and channels
  • Monitor and manage carrier performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, escalating issues where required
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and carrier documentation, including customs and compliance paperwork
  • Track delivery performance, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of carrier-related issues
  • Support onboarding of new carriers by gathering operational data, updating systems, and facilitating test shipments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure capacity planning aligns with shipping forecasts and peak season volumes
  • Ensure clients are kept informed of service updates, rate changes, and delivery issues where applicable
  • Assist with data analysis to identify cost-saving or performance improvement opportunities in carrier operations
  • Maintain awareness of customs procedures, Incoterms, and international compliance requirements


Skills and Experience Required


  • 2–3 years’ experience in a logistics, supply chain or carrier-focused role (within a 3PL environment advantageous)
  • Understanding of global shipping practices, including incoterms and customs processes
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong organisational abilities
  • Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a professional client-facing manner
  • Confident using Excel, shipment tracking platforms, and logistics management systems
  • Exposure to dangerous goods compliance (IATA/ADR) is desirable, but not essential
  • Proactive team player with a hands-on approach to operational logistics
