Maintenance Engineer – Nottinghamshire
Salary: £44,000- £45,000
Location: Nottinghamshire
Shift Pattern: Double days (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)

- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance as per the PPM schedule using the MaintMaster system.
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce reactive maintenance and enhance production efficiency.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring successful integration with production processes.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of spare parts and liaise with the Maintenance Manager to ensure availability.
- Work closely with production teams to develop safe, efficient processes and improve site operations.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.
- Understanding of Health & Safety best practices.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
- High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- Calm and organised under pressure with a proactive and flexible approach.
- Committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
- Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including the ability to read technical drawings.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in the concrete or heavy manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
