CREDIT CONTROL ASSISTANT.
Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI is looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join our busy accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to learn and progress in accounts; with ongoing training and support, you will be developing your skills with one of the world’s most admired brands in the automotive industry.
YOUR ROLE.
As the Credit Control Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Group Sales Ledger and Credit Controller by maintaining accurate payment records and managing debt.

SALARY AND HOURS.
Basic Salary £24,000 per annum
Working hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

YOUR ROLE.
As the Credit Control Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Group Sales Ledger and Credit Controller by maintaining accurate payment records and managing debt.
The main duties of the role include
- Handle queries from insurance companies, fleet companies, garages, and colleagues across departments.
- Manage accounts, send out monthly statements, and process invoices and credit notes.
- Chase overdue payments and liaise with departments to resolve queries.
- Update spreadsheets, prepare invoices, and ensure accurate financial records.
- Process card payments and refunds, and oversee credit account limits.
- Support financial administration and liaise with specialised accounts.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently
- A methodical and organised approach to work
- Interest in accounts and credit control
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, creating spreadsheetsand using basic formulas
- Previous admin experience preferred
