As a Phase Leader, the individual will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the curriculum within the Transition phase and ensuring all teaching staff are supported in delivering outstanding lessons.
- Engaging actively in whole-school self-evaluation processes and contributing to the school improvement planning initiatives.
- Mentoring and developing staff within the key stage, offering guidance, support, and showcasing best practices in teaching to foster professional growth.
- Maintaining an informed understanding of current theory and practice in education to effectively lead and inspire the teaching team.
- Ensuring full compliance with the SEND Code of Practice, thereby championing the needs of all learners, especially those with special educational needs and disabilities.
