About The Role
We are seeking a Highways Operative to join our team on our Highways workstream. You will be working closely with a HGV Highways Operative to clean along the highways.

About The Role
We are seeking a Highways Operative to join our team on our Highways workstream. You will be working closely with a HGV Highways Operative to clean along the highways.
- Location: Manchester
- Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm day shift however flexibility is required if night shifts need to be covered
- Salary: Up to £35,698 dependent on experience
- Weekly Pay
- Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.
- Use the high-powered suction equipment to remove debris, silt, leaves, and waste from gullies.
- Work closely with our Traffic Management department planning routes along the highways
- Maintain and operate the vehicle’s associated machinery, including pumps, hoses, and suction equipment.
- Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
- Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-powered suction equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
- Competent in IT, accurate data entry
